As a last group project we were given an entirely fictional Star Wars board game imagined and pre-produced by our fellow students at Visual Magic. Our group's task was to develop a visualization of the game in the form of a dazzling commercial trailer.
My main role were animation. So I have animated basically every shot in the movie. Therefore I was in control over the overall pacing, timing and feeling of the movie. Everything except for the dices is animated in UE5. Which was not a great experience in comparison to other programs as Blender or Maya, but it was often simple movements so it wasn't too difficult. As you can probably notice I relied heavily on camera shake, to get a feeling of speed and being close to an X-Wing. Every single shot has some sort of camera shake.
I also built the lighting for every scene. Nothing complicated as I feel that often makes the best job. Don't over complicate it.
Final edit, Color Grade and Sound FX are also made my me. It was quite fun and quick process and I'm very satisfied with the final result.
